Founding Members
Some 40 years have past since Ted Cabali and Tom Jindra founded the New Orleans Fly Fishers Club. Many consider these two visionaries to be legends of the sport, with numerous accolades, years of dedication, and a willingness to bring new ideas, mentorship, and growth to the NOFFC. With over 100 members, the NOFFC represents one of the largest and long standing fly fishing clubs, not only in the South, but across the USA. The New Orleans Fly Fisher Club is a certified 501(c)(3) organization, and is a Charter Member of Fly Fishers International (FFI).
Ted Cabali
Ted Cabali is a former US Marine, Principal and Teacher, Trout Bum, world traveler, and consummate fly fisher who's brilliant idea to form the NOFFC is followed by hundreds of past and present members. Ted's fly fishing and tying expertise has led many to take up the sport, improve their knowledge, and catch fish across the country. Together with Tom Jindra, these two partners created a fly fishing club that welcomes all, teaches all, and appreciated by all.
