The Big Year Leaderboard Update - 9/16/18

September has been a good month for The Big Year! Although there has been a fair amount of rain, members have made the most of their opportunities. Kirk Dietrich added to his lead with a Golden Shiner entry. David Karcher continues to close the gap between himself and Kirk, adding a Redfish to his species list. Chuck Miller continues to build upon his species list with catches of Spotted Gar and Ladyfish. Sean Gilthorpe and Jimmie Hyatt each add Green Sunfish to their species lists. Al Kellogg gets on the leaderboard with bluegill, spotted bass, and redear sunfish entires. Ric Bonczek adds Black Crappie and Largemouth Bass this his species list, while Natalie Bonczek gets onto the leaderboard with a Bluegill. Also, just as a reminder:  Please be sure that (1.) To include the Big Year Photo ID Card with your Big Year submissions, and (2.) To submit all CPR entries to nolaffc@gmail.com so we can track them more accurately.  Remember, it isn't the size of the fish that's important, it's the diversity of fish species that will determine the winner.The time of 1st entry will be the tie-breaker (in the event it is needed).  Most importantly, have fun!

There's plenty of fish to catch, and still lots of time to do it! It's never too late to get a start on your species list! I can't wait to see everyone's catches in the 2 months.  If you haven't had the opportunity to pickup a stamped tournament ID card, please let either myself or A.J. Rosenbohm know so you can participate in The Big Year!  Please take advantage of this tournament, and use it as an opportunity to catch fishes you normally don't pursue within the FFI Gulf Coast Council region.
