The Big Year Leaderboard Update - 8/19/2018

Well, it's like they say. The only constant is change! In the ongoing saga that is The Big Year, there has been yet another change in The Big Year Leaderboard! Kirk Dietrich recaptures 1st place this week, by adding Jack Crevalle, Pinfish, and Pompano to his ever-growing species list! One of our newest members, Ric Bonczek, gets into the action with a Green Sunfish and a Rio Grande Cichlid, and currently holds 12th place! Sean Gilthorpe adds Ladyfish to his Big Year species list, and hold onto 4th place. Here are the current standing as of 8/18/2018:

Also, just as a reminder:  Please be sure that (1.) To include the Big Year Photo ID Card with your Big Year submissions, and (2.) To submit all CPR entries to nolaffc@gmail.com so we can track them more accurately.  Remember, it isn't the size of the fish that's important, it's the diversity of fish species that will determine the winner.The time of 1st entry will be the tie-breaker (in the event it is needed).  Most importantly, have fun!

There's plenty of fish to catch, and still lots of time to do it! It's never too late to get a start on your species list! I can't wait to see everyone's catches in the 2 months.  If you haven't had the opportunity to pickup a stamped tournament ID card, please let either myself or A.J. Rosenbohm know so you can participate in The Big Year!  Please take advantage of this tournament, and use it as an opportunity to catch fishes you normally don't pursue within the FFI Gulf Coast Council region.
