The Big Year Update: 6/25/2018

Brian Karcher's Warmouth entry
As The Big Year continues, there are only 2 things that are certain. The 1st is the sun will always rise in the east, and the 2nd, the Karcher's are going to keep catching fish! This dynamic father-son duo has been consistently catching fish since the beginning of The Big Year, and they don't look like they're going to slow down anytime soon!  Brian Karcher added a Warmouth to his species list, which moves him up to 2nd Place overall!  David Karcher is still maintaining a solid lead in The Big Year!  With the addition of his Striped Mullet, David's Big Year species list now includes 13 different species!

Also, just as a reminder:  Please be sure that (1.) To include the Big Year Photo ID Card with your Big Year submissions, and (2.) To submit all CPR entries to nolaffc@gmail.com so we can track them more accurately.  Remember, it isn't the size of the fish that's important, it's the diversity of fish species that will determine the winner. The time of 1st entry will be the tie-breaker (in the event it is needed).  Most importantly, have fun!

The Big Year is off and running, full steam ahead!  I can't wait to see everyone's catches in the upcoming months.  If you haven't had the opportunity to pickup a stamped tournament ID card, please let either myself, A.J. Rosenbohm, or Jimmie Hyatt know so you can participate in The Big Year!  Please take advantage of this tournament, and use it as an opportunity to catch fishes you normally don't pursue within the FFI Gulf Coast Council region.
